My name is Gabriela Terrones, but I go by Gabby. I recently graduated from Merrimack College with a graphic design major and a marketing minor. I am born and raised Bostonian. I’m an introvert so I do well on my own; however, I can get along with people well. I love all animals and prefer them over people. I currently have a dog named Goku, a cat named Lucy, another cat named Suki, and a hedgehog named Natsu. I am a very creative person and I tend to bounce around between different projects and mediums. I have been drawing for as long as I could hold a pencil and I have continued recreationally. While I took a couple classes in middle/high school, I consider my first real art class to be in college. I have recently started crocheting. I am self taught and have made a lot of progress because I consider myself a fast learner. I like to crochet because I can do it anywhere while relaxing since it’s mainly repetitive actions. I have made things from sweaters to crochet bees. Even though I have improved a lot in the few months I have started I still have a lot I wish to get better at. I have also dabbled in sewing. My late grandma was a seamstress but I started to use a sewing machine after she passed. I have altered and created some clothes but I’m not very confident in this artistic field yet, though I hope to progress. My goal for this website is to motivate me to be consistent with my crafts because they make me happy so I want to pick up this good habit.
